What about the agreements signed with Syria?

Hassan Fadlallah is cute, very cute indeed, since he only noticed one single accord that has no real importance or effect on the country, as it consists of providing our security forces with some useful, civilized and highly established training courses.

Meanwhile, Fadlallah forgot hundreds of agreements signed under the Syrian influence, and with who??? of course with Syria itself, and those accords have lots of bad effects on our security and economy, and above all on our political performance,  those accords also had their shares in messing around with Lebanon on all levels, and we are still paying the price.

Fadlallah and his friends criticized the communications made between the US Embassy and some Governmental agencies as he said (Full article), adding that embassies should only contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It’s like the Iranian Embassy is doing so!!!!! what about the newly established Syrian Embassy too????

Because, eventhough the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is considered as a playground for both Amal and HA, the Iranian and Syrian Embassies tend to do lots of other direct contacts (or maybe all their contacts), not only with Governmental agencies (I wish they do), but with local parties and political figures who are receiving orders, money and weapons through them.

A Knight fallen off his horse

Antoine Choueiri died yesterday at the age of 69.

First I couldn’t believe the story, because I somehow thought of him as the Heroe in a movie, where he can’t die, and he can’t fall off his horse.

But yet, this is life, immortality is for God only and we are all humans.

I’m very touched by the loss of Antoine Choueiri, the unchallenged Dream Maker, the man who strated from scratch in his life, to become the Emperor in his field of Media and Advertising.

Maybe Sagesse Club lost him few years ago, maybe the Basketball and the whole Lebanese sports lost him a while ago, after he made both Sagesse and Basketball history, but today all Lebanon and Lebanese lost him, we lost a person who became a Model in achievements and success and Dream Making.

I’m touched because I knew him in person, I worked with him for a long time, I was one of his workteam members for a certain period, and I definitely know what kind of a person he is, he is a true figure of the Lebanese we want.

People can love him or hate him, they can be with him or against him, they can defend the way he does business or they may oppose that way, but people should know that while he is a true Businessman in his work and his lack of compassion towards his competitors, he was and still very loyal to his cause, or to his many causes, and that’s why he never tried to sponsor another team to play against Sagesse, and that’s why also he disagreed with his long time partner Sheikh Pierre Daher at the LBC and accepted to loose a lot in business wise, just to stay loyal for a cause he believed in, which is the Lebanese Forces cause.

Rest In Peace ANTOINE CHOUEIRI, you will never be forgotten.

Just a wish…Do we have a Toyoda??

The so called National Dialogue kicks off today after nearly 8 months of absence.

In this regard, I have a little wish, I would like to see our politicians sheding some tears in their dialogue session today, as they surely caused the Lebanese people too much sufferings and miseries, whether on purpose or just because of their political actions.

Akio Toyoda, who is the Toyota Motor’s CEO, showed how great he is as a person, even in his high position, when he cried like a man in front of the US Congress committee, just because there were some suspicions that defects in cars may have caused road accidents and probably some victims.

Do we have a Toyoda in Lebanon?? I can’t see anyone, our politicians, or let me say most of them, are changing stances everyday, making mistakes every minute, and showing negligence towards their people, without even extending their apology.

I know they will not change, but at least and I wish they can shed a tear on those who have sacrificed their lives for them.

I can’t believe it

I already know the political background of Mr. Wadih El-Khazen, the head of the Maronite Council, since he was and still one of the closest friend to Syria and mainly to former president Emile Lahoud.

But still, I couldn’t believe what he said today, I was really shocked to hear him. I can’t understand what is happening to some Maronites, so Mr. El-Khazen, and instead of taking care ofhis society’s affairs, being in his high position, he only cares about “polishing” to Syria and its alllies.

رئيس المجلس الماورني العام وديع الخازن: إن خطوة جنبلاط المنتظَرَة إلى سورية تندرج في عودة الزعيم الدرزي إلى نطاقه التاريخي وكنفه القومي.

I mean, who asked him to issue this statement, and what he’s got to do with that? Of course his own and personal benefit and interest, which incites me as a Maronite to call for his resignation, because we don’t need another Syrian agent in our society, especially in a sensitive position, and because this guy is far from representing the Maronites.

Israeli – Iranian Friendship

Don’t let them fool you. This is not what they want you to think, meaning this is not an Iranian toleration towards all the religions, including the Jews. This is not what they wanted to show it, meaning it’s not an Iranian – Jewish relation, mainly because there are Jews in Iran.

Just a look at this video gives us the kind of Holy respect from Ahmedi Nejad towards the Israelis, and not towards the Jews as this promotion wanted us to think.

The warm reception shows other things, shows that we are not being treated with respect. They think they can convince us with anything they want and at any time.

Well, they are definitely wrong, because we know what kind of friendly relations exist between Iran and Israel, and we know they both represent the biggest threat to our region and mainly to our Lebanon, because of those who are very much involved and want us to always pay the price.

National Dialogue with no result

Well, this is what I meant in my previous post.

From Armand Homsi in Annahar Newspaper. I like his work.

We need a change in the system

In a surprise move, President Michel Suleiman announced on Sunday the names of participants of the new round of national dialogue that will be held at Baabda palace at a later date.
The participants are: Speaker Nabih Berri, PM Saad Hariri, former President Amin Gemayel, MP Michel Aoun, ex-prime minister Najib Miqati, former PM Fouad Saniora, Deputy Speaker Farid Makari, Defense Minister Elias Murr, MP Walid Jumblat, MP Mohammed Raad, MP Suleiman Franjieh, MP Talal Arslan, Minister Michel Pharaon, Minister Mohammed Safadi, Minister Jean Oghassabian, MP Assaad Hardan, MP Hagop Pakradounian, LF leader Samir Geagea, Professor Fayez al-Hajj Chahine.

This is the latest of today, or let me say the joke of the day.

I keep asking myself why the hell we need a National Dialogue Table, while we have a so called National Unity Government, and a Parliament in which everybody are represented.

What is the Agenda of this Round Table, and will it able to achieve it or to reach a final settlement, mainly on the Defense Startegy which was the only issue discussed in its latest meetings over the last two years now.

Will this National Dialogue be able to at least reach a compromise on the HA weapons matter, especially when HA is acting as a State of its own, and that was very obvious in the “Three Way Summit” held in Damascus two days ago.

This is the joke of the Day because our officials, our Government, our Politicians, are even helpless towards, or involved in some kind of a distraction plan, aimed to pass time until the Regional and International Powers decide on what to do with this little country.

I urge everybody to take a look back in time and tell me if our new “Agreemental (tawafoqi)” political system has achieved anything so far.

Of course the answer is and will be a big NO, because this a failed system, and nothing will be reached through, in particular when a party is dominating the whole land and exerting its conditions and governance on everybody.

We don’t need a National Dialogue Table consisting of politicians, a table to be held two or three times a year, we need a change, and a fast one, a change to the whole system.

But to be realistic, and taking the Lebanese circumstances into account, maybe this change could come with a totally different National Dialogue Committee, with only Neutral Academic participants, someone like Professor Fayez Al-Hajj Chahine, who is the only good news in this new National Dialogue formation.

In addition, this committee should keep its meetings open 24/7 until reaching an accord and presenting its recommendations, to be binding on all.

Hizbullah: The culture of escaping forward

I’ve restrained at first from talking about this subject, mainly because I was shocked by the event (a Hizbullah commemoration of Martyrs in Sagesse Jdeideh ????????) I mean, who could ever imagined that? but in return, it seems with Hizbullah everything is possible now.

I tried not to believe all the things I hear or read about them, and that was the case on many occasions, mainly when Der Spiegel accused them of being involved in Hariri’s murder, even though I’m well convinced the German Magazine is a highly respected Media.

But lately, and after a series of unfortunate incidents, I’m pretty sure now that Hizbullah are able to do anything to stay in control and to maintian their weapons and their dominance through these weapons

More than the location of the event in itself, and the purposes behind, I was shocked by the twisted way they have used to rent the theatre, adding a new culture to their full list of bad cultures, which is the culture of deceit.

Now I’m sure that Hizbullah are involved in Hariri’s murder and all the assassinations that follow, I’m confident that “Der Spiegel” sources were reliable, and that’s what French “Le Monde” confirmed two days ago.

So from that point, I tend to believe all the stories told about them, even if they come from sources known by their oppositions to that organization, and even if they are just speculations.

In this regard, Kuwaiti Al-Seyassah newspaper reported today that Jammers operated by Hizbullah may have caused the incident of the Ethiopian plane

I knew there is something wrong with the investigations in that incident, and we all know no such truth will be disclosed in Lebanon.

Now let’s see what Hizbullah is about, Resistance??? NO, or maybe resistance against free and sovereign Lebanon.

Hizbullah are the following:

Thugs (for sure and they showed it on the 7th of May as a sample)

Liars & Cheaters (yes they are, ask the Sagesse school administration)

Murderers (I can mention lots of incidents and people names here)

Traitors (All they care about is Iran and Syria, what can we call an organization working i a country on behalf of another country??)

Sectrarians (Indeed, they want to invade all other religions and sects, and they have done it already)

Terrorists (The hell they are , definitely…)

And the list goes on, but in fact, all what Hizbullah are doing, with their “rat in hole” leader, is escaping forward, they are escaping their own fear, their own past and present, thei are escaping their murders and violations, by spreading more and more threats in all directions, whether towards Israel or towards other Lebanese and Arabs.

Isn’t that what Hassan Nasrallah meant in his last speech?? we will destroy everything, he doesn’t care because Lebanon means nothing to him, all he cares about are his masters in Iran.
